At What Age can my Child Enroll in Kindergarten?

The State of Michigan requires all children to be five years of age on or before September 1 in order to be eligible for next year's class. If you request to enroll your child in Kindergarten and your child will not be five years of age on or before September 1, but will turn five years of age no later than December 1, you must also complete a Kindergarten Enrollment Waiver Request Form.

What is the difference of Enrollment and Registration? 

Enrollment is the process during which you provide the legal documentation necessary for your child to attend Belding Area Schools.

Registration is the process each family does yearly at the building level to complete items such as confirming emergency contacts and signing permission forms.
